About Nagshanti Group

The name Nagshanti echoed in the industry for the first time in the year 1999. A team of young enterprising brothers, just after completing their education ventured into the world of business, associating with Samsung Consumer Durables’ distributorship in July 1999 for North West Karnataka. This venture which began with one employee and a turnover of Rs 5 lakhs/month grew up to Rs 50 lakhs/month within just 5 months of its operation. It became one of the top 5 distributors of South India. This journey began from a small office in Hubli which even today upholds the modesty.

Philips audio range distribution was added to its banner in December 2000 for same areas of operations and became one of the top 10 distributors in India. Moving ahead, the addition of Onida Black & White TV range in February 2001 reached one more mile stone of achieving the highest ever unit sales within two months of operations.

In June 2003, Nagshanti saw an opportunity and took up the distribution of the popular mobile brand Nokia for 5 districts of North-West Karnataka and went on to be one of the top 2 distributors of South India. Nagshanti Nokia grew from selling 200 nos./month to 30,000 nos./month and is one of the long standing distributors in India even after so many ups & downs faced by the brand. Success in Consumer Electronics Distribution encouraged us to venture into automobile dealerships.

Nagshanti Hero was inaugurated in March 2004 in Belgaum. Within 8 years, Nagshanti had seen a rapid growth in the market. It started Hyundai dealership in April 2007 and was recognized for ‘Top Target Achievement in South India’ in its first year of operations. With this success, Nagshanti Group entered agriculture sector in October 2008. Agri business was relatively new for the group, so it was started on a small scale. Meanwhile, they were doing great with automobile dealerships. To extend their automobile business activities in Hubli, they started Nagshanti Honda, a 2 wheeler Honda dealership in March 2010 and Nagshanti Renault in July 2012. Like their other ventures, Nagshanti Renault also went on to achieve the targets and was awarded top dealer for selling 1000+ cars in its first year of operation by Renault India.

In August 2016, Nagshanti setup an independent food grains cleaning, grading, sorting, & packing plant with a capacity of 4 Tons per Hour (TPH), approximately 100 Tons per Day (TPD) along with a warehouse of 20,000 Sq. ft, inhouse 60 tons weigh bridge & staff quarters.
